Early Life & Education
Dr. A.M. Palanisamy was born on March 3, 1970, in Ammapalayam, Kunnathur, Tirupur District to Mr. Murugasamy Gounder and Mrs. Subbayal. Raised in an agricultural family, he developed a strong work ethic and a passion for serving rural communities. He completed his primary and secondary education at NRKN School, Kunnathur, and pursued higher secondary studies at Bishop Ubagaraswary Higher Secondary School.
Dr.A.M Palanisamy graduated with an MBBS degree from Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Bangalore, followed by his post-graduation (DLO) in Otorhinolaryngology at Madras Medical College, Chennai.
Establishment of Sree Saran Medical Center
Dr. A.M. Palanisamy, with immense dedication to his community and strong familial support, founded the Saran Clinic in Tirupur. His commitment to quality patient care led to the rapid growth of his practice. Within three years, he established Sree Saran Medical Center on December 12, 2005, strategically located at Poyampalayam bus stop, P.N. Road, Tirupur. Over the years, the hospital expanded into a 100-bed multi-specialty center. In 2020, Dr. Palanisamy further expanded his vision with the launch of the Sree Saran Fertility Center, specializing in reproductive health and fertility treatments.
Vision for Expansion & Social Impact
Dr. Palanisamy envisioned the construction of a new block in 2022 to consolidate super-specialty departments under one roof, contributing significantly to healthcare accessibility. That same year, Sree Saran Medical Center was restructured into Sree Saran Medical Center Private Limited, a major milestone in its growth. As part of his commitment to social responsibility, he also founded the AMP Charitable Trust in 2022, focusing on providing healthcare services to underserved populations.
